Passing emissions
Hi,
I am a relatively new owner of an 89 sapphire 2wd.
I have just hit the CO emissions hurdle over here in italy. My revisioni ( mot ) guy is saying that the car is running at 10% CO when it should be running at 0%
Firstly I dont believe that a non cat should be at 0%
, I am guessing standard would be 2-4%. What is the standard CO on these ?
Secondly, can anyone help me on how to adjust the CO just temporarily to get past this check ?
Cheers
Paul.

ecu in the panel in the passenger side dash , remove cover , and turn screw small amounts at a time , best to be done whilst emissions are being read i.e with the gas anilyser sampling , without the spec of your engine and whos map it has i it its almost impossible to say what it shoud run at , especially for european law
