Brake travel
My zetec s mk6.5 has a st rear axle conversion. When I bought the car it had no brake pressure whatsoever......I've put fresh fluid in and bled the whole system!
It's been around 14 years since I've owned one of these cars and my last one was a 1.25 which had drums on the rear! I dont ever recall this much travel in the pedal when braking! It feels like Im almost touching the floor to get them to bite! Turned the car off.....pumped pedal and I'm getting a solid pedal!
Also I have new pads on front and half life rear pads.
My question.......is there more travel when you convert to rear disks?
Is it just my servo?
Or am I being a retard and there is defo air in the system? Lol.
Cheers.

Sounds like it may need a reverse bleed to double check it and see if the master cylinder has a bleed nipple?
after that I would look at mondeo servos perhaps and see if the have a larger master cylinder?

They passed mot fine and got the abs diagnosed......2 rear magnetic rings need replacing.
Tbh I think it's just the fact the car hadn't been driven. I've been out in it for a few hours now and they're feeling pretty good 👍
