Default Brake pedal travel??

Whats the probable cause of brake pedal travel?
My 51 plate mondeo started doing it yesterday. Pads and discs fucked?

get someone to pres the brake pedal while the engine is off

it will get harder as the vacuum runs out

while they are doing this, walk around and inpect the brake lines and calipers for any fluid losses

if the pedal is starting to hit the deak and there are no leaks it may be due to the temprature ruining something that is as yet undetected

i'd get it looked at proffesionally if you can find any obvious leeks mate, better to be safe than sorry, escpecialy in these conditions
