Default Boost Problem With S2

Hi there, im new to the turbo scene.
I have a S2 ERT totally std, apart from a dump valve and samco's (boost pipes).

I have just started to notice when i put my foot down in fourth the turbo starts to wind up. Comes on boost get a little push back in my seat feel then the boost just feels like it slopes off, and the sensation goes.
I can just about feel it in the other gears but 4th seems most popular.

I hope someone can help. I have a feeling the samco from the metering unit to the turbo is a little kinked? could that be the problem?

Cheers for your help

check for air leaks because the boost is fluctuating. I had this problem, i boosted at 10psi and dropped down to 6psi. Mine ended up to be a dead actuator, in which id say to you, take it somewhere unless capable yourself, wipp it off and see whether you can physically pull it out.. chances are you'll need a new one or a cossie one. -31 actuator. There £60ish quid, id suggest that, but before you do, check all hoses, air leaks, and gubile clips for gaps ... if you cant see nowt, try the actuator.
