Bellhousing wont come off
You need to strip the rest of the box, the fifth gear comes off first (needs a special tool to pull it off), then the 5th gear housing, then the centre housing, the bell housing is last once the rest is stripped.
You're looking at (pointing at) the selector shaft.

Oh ok thank you. A lot bigger job than I expected. Takin the gearbox apart is something iv never done before. Il take this box apart then since I don't need it anyway but probably leave my main one to someone who's done it before.
You might struggle to get the 5th gear off unless you have the proper tool, that's one of the first things that has to come off when stripping these.
Found this how-to strip the box to fit LSD, you need to do basically all this, and then you can remove the selector shaft , that's in the bottom.

Very.
You can't get a conventional gear puller under the teeth, the proper tool uses the lip on the top of the gear to pull it off.
Even with the proper tool, they are tight to get off.

Ok thanks mate. Do you think I would of done any damage to the gearbox trying to remove the bell housing or anything come out of place? I'm going to bolt it back together I think and just use a 1.3 gearbox with the 2l for now and see what it's like
In fact, scrap that idea the gearbox iv got uses a different gearbox mount il have to get another gearbox with the right mount and rear mounted starter. Think the 1.3 fiesta has it
