Draining IB5 Gearbox Oil?

I have a new gearbox for the missus KA as she's lost 2nd (You can feel it grinding on the layshaft but it never slides in).
I'm assuming that the KA uses an IB5?
I want to drain the oil out of the gearbox before I fit it to the car and maybe replace the driveshaft seals.
The gearbox has come with the inner CV joint 'cups' fitted but I can't work out how to slide them out of the gearbox?
My Pugs had a bolt that you ondone 90° and the driveshaft would slide out but this doesn't seem to have anything?
Do I just need to give them a bloody hard pull or am I missing a trick?
If I don't replace the driveshaft seals what's the next best way to drain the gearbox oil?
Bare in mind the gearbox is sat in a garage and not in the car.
Cheers, Bailes.

Cheers guys!
Is there any reason I couldn't use the inner CV joint 'cups' that came on this second hand gearbox (Is there a proper name for these?) with the inner CV joints fitted to the car?
Or should I take the cups out of the broken gearbox and fit them to the new one?

I'd use the flanges that came with it. Considering you're already taking one out to drain the oil, may as well change the seals. They aren't expensive. I had one leak on my Golf, with only 90k on the clock!! Made a mess

Could I undo the filler plug and tip the gearbox up so it drains out the filler?
I don't quite know what goes in inside a gearbox and pretty inexperienced by all accounts

Cheers guys!
Changed the clutch on this KA in the summer so should be a piece of piss to change as I greased everything up.
Don't understand fords logic by not fitting a drain plug to the IB5 but such is life!
I changed the oil in the gearbox on my MMT6 in about 10mins!
