Have got a st170 box that i was thinking about using on my blacktop zetec turbo mk3 escort project.
Ive heard people dont use them because of the flywheel but iv got a focus rs flywheel that i wana use.

So question is can i use FRS flywheel and clutch in a st170 box?

Doubt you can use a flywheel for a MTX75 on a Gertrag ST170 box, totally different.

Have you felt the weight of the ST170 box, weigh a ton!! Hope you're running some boost to pull it along!

There are solid flywheels available from US for these too.

the 6 speed ends up being more to do than a frs box once you go through the effort of buying a diff......

st170 box aint that heavy tbh ive lifted mine in and out enough

Getrag box looks a lot smaller to me..cant see it being heavier than frs monster!
