I have a 1988 escort rs turbo. I has just failed its mot on emissions, i was just wondering if anyone had any idea what would be the ideal co.hc settings for perfect running?

0.25 % CO is the textbook value. Wild cams.low compression etc. may require a bit more, like 2-3 %. Always take the 3mm adjustment key with you to the MOT.

I set mine to 2.5% and got the hc`s to 400ppm,ran fine like this
