Hi all,wondering if anyone can shine light in this subject.i have a saff coz and wen it been run up to operating temp sumtimes when you dip the clutch at lights it cuts out.and wen i fire it bk up the revs can be 'very' low as in just ticking over and no more,then if i hold a wee rev on it for a few secs its ok. Doesnt do this all the time, and somtimes it will be perfect run around for hours,park it up and start bk up half hour later 'still warm' it will do it. Starting to get abit anoying lol another thing i noticed which i think is irelivant i think is that ever since i changed the chip to a MSD evolution chip it doesnt start 1st time in morning. More like 3rd time which also is very anoying....

What did you set the fuel pressure, base CO and base idle speed to with the new chip?

Not sure mate i took it to AVA in glasgow and they done it for me.i showd him the peperwork i got with chip too. I did however see him ajusting the screw on ecu and fuel reg but dont know the figures...

I supose i could check the CO myself with the mot comp at work?

Yes with the engine up to temperature, and the fans off.

So what did the tuner say about it cutting out when he gave it you back?

Hi mate, well as i briefly mentioned in the 1st post i canot remember if the cutting out when warm thing hapend at same time as changing the chip,i personaly dont think it did because i doesnt do that all the time,But as for the cold start up is concerned,the tuner done all the adjustments and apart from that the cars perfect so in his case it wasnt realy his problem kinda thing.2 seperate isues im guesing but im no expert lol
