Hi, I have a 59 plate mondeo 2litre tdci 5dr manual.
The car is from a ford dealer, and covered a very small 12k miles, warranty remaining.
Since owning, the car occasionally has a very minor blip in power at motorway speed, I can only equate it to taking foot of accelerator or dabbing brake for literally a second. Power is very restricted, but then restores.
I took it back to dealer who (at the time) blamed the cold weather, no faults found, very little interest.
I've stuck with its been fine, but these occasional blips return, I feel the car is under performing in general now, just "not right"
Yesterday, the car cut out completely at about 40 mph while breaking towards a roundabout, now I'm getting worried. But again today, it's fine.
Anyone else having similar experiences? Ford don't seem interested as computer says no.
I'm also experiencing what I consider poor mpg at an average mpg of 40.8
Car was serviced before I bought it in September last year. As I say, I still have warranty.
Thanks for for reading.
