esc cos clocks???
is there a permanant 12v feed to any instrument in the esc cos clocks??
I want to hard wire my act gauge to the clocks. It's easy to do if I only want the act on with the lights, which to be fair I do have on all the time. But should I not want the lights on!!! I cannot think of any + feed that would be a stable 12v's due to the nature of the gauges, apart from the lights!!

Geert, I had a spare mk5 front bit so I used that, however a small amount of 'butchery' was required on the rear section. There is only plastic in the way - so I moved it to the bin!!

Rough guide!! note these are my old mk5 clocks!!
The portion of plastic shown has to be removed, plus the top clip that holds the fuel/temp gauges in (there are two screws as well so no probs) you will have to remove the gauges to do it obviously. Be very careful removing them especially the EL connection!! Once out you can chop away!!
you also need a clearance hole as well, roughly here ish!!
measure and mark out front housing remembering that the gauge must sit above the temp/fuel gauge section!!
Just a bit of braveness required gents!!!!
