Right still havin starting problems with my rs2000 van conversion think its immobiliser, but on checking the crank sensor there is no live feed to it even while cranking, can you just run a live to it etc to see if I can get spark
Crank sensor makes it's own AC voltage on cranking.
Not sure what voltage it should be on those, but if you can connect some wires to the sensor and check it with AC voltmeter, see what comes out. Or could check it on the EDIS module. Pin 5 and 6 on the EDIS from crank sensor.
edit - some tests here http://www.rs2000-16v.co.uk/newsitef...iagnostics.htm
If PATS fault it won't crank over, at all.
Have you got 12v on the centre pin of the coil?
12v on the injectors?
5v on Throttle sensor? - this will check ECU being powered up.
Then need to check if coil and injectors are switching to earth
(connect a low powered bulb onto the coil connector)
Same with injectors, if you can connect the bulb to connector and crank, bulb should flash if ECU switching injectors.
