Default Sierra power steering problem (strange)

Basically when I start the engine and its idling, the steering will immediately turn fully left all by itsself and stay that way. I can turn the wheel fully right without too much trouble but as soon as I let go the wheel it will go fully left again by itself. I thought the fluid might be shot so I drained it out and replaced it with fresh fluid and bled as it says in the haynes manual but no change.

Anyone come across this before?

As I said I drained out the old fluid and replaced with fresh fluid. Cant see how a faulty pump would make the steering rack move by itself

I would hazard a guess that the rack is buggered, but have you recently bought the car or swapped hoses or anything like that??? Maybe something just isnt connected right, a long shot though.

Actually just had another thought....it may be a blocked or damaged return line from the rack causing back pressure and making the rack turn by iteslf, i'd check the hoses and pipes
