Default cosworth fuel pump

putting a new pump on my sapphire cosworth ,can anyone tell which colour wire to black terminal on pump .got a black wire with red trace and brown wire .want to get it fired up and driven after 15years parked in my garage

I would seriously put new fuel pump wiring in if its been sitting for 15 years and a new fuel filter (still available from ford).
Buy a 30 amp relay, red and black 17 amp wire and ring crimps for the pump and battery conections from Halfords.
Take the red wire from the battery to the relay, find the fuel pump wiring which should be behind the left boot carpet and find the (black and red stripped IIRC) ignition wire for the pump, and use that wire for the relay's ignition connection and simply earth the relay and pump to the little bulkhead behind the boots carpet. Flick through my cars thread (link below) to find a few photo's when Richie and I did it to my Saph.
