Default SAPPH BOOST PROBLEM

went for a drive today and noticed what I think is a boost problem, I was poodleing along at 65 mph in 5th gear then nailed the throttle and just before it started to boost it died before I could hit 70 mph, until I released the throttle again.

It only seems happen in that rev band and in 5th

Any idea as to what this could be ? and what I need to check

chears

Sounds like overboost protection due to running too much boost.

Was the cut severe? Like someone turned off the ignition?

I had that problem after adding stage 3 parts. It wouldn;t run smoothly over 18psi, anything higher it would cut out slightly then go again. After a lengthy check over everything it turned out to be a corroded dizzy cap, that wasn't producing a strong enough spark.
