I need to replace the front studs on my Mk3.5 fiesta because I snapped one and all the seem to be worn down abit.

How do I do it?
Iv heard its easy but I just would like a heads up before I go and do it.

It is easy, simply put a nut on with the wheel off leaving about 1/3" thread exposed, ie not fully wound on, then hit with hammer, they will pop out.
To pull new ones in, try and use a normal nut, NOT a wheel nut as these are tapered, with a few thick washers so put the new stud through the hole from the rear of the hub flange, then washers over it, then nut and tighten, keep looking at the rear of the hub so you can see if the stud has butted up flush, you will feel it drawing through the hub then get hard as it butts up against the rear of the hub flange.
Make sure you line the fine splines of the stud up with those in the hub before pulling in.

Cheers, so basically pull wheel off and start banging them out using the method you said.

 

Yes, so long as you have enough clearance behind the hub flange for the length of the stud, you may need to rotate the hub flange to a certain position to get enough clearance.

Sorted out today, it was very simple although I had to fight with the one that was snapped lol.

No probs matey, glad you got it sorted, the amount I've done over the years is worrying, due to the amount of people, esp yanks happy to drive around with 1 stripped/snapped, I'm sure they think you must do it up as tight as you can, the last 2 were for yanks, one was a munitions(bombs/missiles) loader, the other was a propulsion tech on F15's etc!!
