Default fwd cossie focus

hi ive got myself a cosworth engine anyone no what gearbox and driveshafts i need to fit into a focus for fwd.

It's alot of work, never known FWD, 4x4 or RWD, the usual method is to graft a Sierra floor pan into the Focus, then the conventional running gear is usually used.

i dont want to mess about putting floor pans in, i dont like rwd much so i want to keep it fwd.

mtx75 with uprated diff and whatever needed to bolt it upto the engine and then a custom engine mount minimum to physically bolt it in.

to be honest though you'd be better off with a black top zetec turbo as it'll bolt straight in.

doesnt look as good as a cossie lump tho

Epic waste of time IMO, just convert to RWD or 4x4 and use the YB to its full potential.

will perform just as well if not better (i think the zetec is lighter) and be FAR easier to fit!

It has been done in an Escort using a modified MTX but why it was done I've got no idea.

People are getting 700+bhp out of the Zetec now and there are plenty over 500bhp so as far as performance goes it's a waste of time and money.
