I've got the chance to get a 2.0 Zetec from an early Mondeo. It's an L reg so It'll be a non PATS model. I'm using my XR3i type BC Gearbox and will be wanting to keep it injection for now.

Do I use inlets etc from the 1.8 Zetec?
Do I need a modified CVH EFi flywheel from my XR3i for it to run with my gearbox/clutch?
I been told there's a problem with the sump clearance and water pump running the other way on the Mondeo engine too.


Any help or links would be great.

yh use everything from the mondeo inc inlet, u will need a 1.8sump an water pump, obv u need the loom, an u will need to modify the top engine mount using your cvh mount, use a xr3i efi flywheel and rs turbo clutch, u will need an inline fuel pump and a swirlpot if the car is not already an injection, ist all pretty simples m8, good luck with it
