ignition problem (weber alpha)

ignition problem (weber alpha)
got a bit of a problem with no spark on rs2000 16v engine running on weber alpha management.
I have replaced the crank sensor and checked with a multimeter and thats ok. Produces around 3v ac turning it over on the starter.
i have also checked the two outputs from each ign amps to ground and all i can get is a resistance reading of around 2k ohms which drops when turning the engine over, no voltage or anything.
I read on the internet somewhere you can connect a light to the ign amps before the coil packs to see if it lights up when cranking the engine... but nothing.
When i turn the ignition on the fuel pump relay clicks and pump comes on, but there is nothing from the ignition relay, i have replaced it and still nothing.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem, and does anyone have the pin outs for the ignition amps just so i can check those.
Any help will be appreciated as i don't know how it all works too well. :wall
THanks
Chris.
