Default Problems with speedo and door warning light...

Right, I could be driving down any old road, completely random, and my speedo will drop to 0. After a few seconds to a few minutes it flicks back to normal again. Any Idea?

I have a 52 reg ford fiesta zetch.

Also, my door warning light occasionally likes to pop on as well, along with the courtesy light turning on while I'm driving along.

Cheers!

The speedo could be down to the VSS and as for the light issue I imagine you have a dodgy connection on one of the door switches, don't think it will be the boot as this does not bring the interior light on from memory?

Nah the boot doesn't turn it on, I went around the car and made sure all the doors were properly closed.

Guess I'm gonna have to take it to a garage and get it looked at. Just got rid of my Fiat Brava, thought the days of endless car costs were over...

Yes but one of the switches is probably faulty or has a loose connection so it's grounding intermitently.
