2.0 zetec conversion/rs1800 ecu
Hi guys
Im currently in the process off finishing off my mk4 escort estate 2.0 silvertop conversion using early rs1800 management with external edis (non pats)
Got her running today but have a few issues as i expected!!! Now im quite sure its ok to run 2.0's with rs18 ecu being that the rs is 130bhp spec similar to 2.0. Im using rs18 HO inlet with the 199cc injectors, external fuel pump similar to rst spec and 92bb-12b579-ba maf sensor which is meant to be either 105 or 130 spec???
The problem is the throttle/revs has a delay on opening throttle, Idle seems ok after a a few revs.
Starting can take a little while as it seems to be overfueling a bit. What id like to know, is it true you have to allow the ecu and throttle to set by holding revs at approx 2-3k for 20 mins??
Has anybody else done this conversion and what MAF did you use as im not sure i have the correct 1 fitted?
Any help would be most appreciated!

not done this exact conversion, but lots of similar stuff, how close is the maff to the throttle body? and have you got the lambda sensor working with the ecu? in theory it will work fine as the maff will compensate for engine size
