You are better off matching turbo to engine. Stage 3 turbo could mean anything.
Speak to a tuner with your exact engine spec and requirements.

so it wouldnt be a good idea then to buy a stage three when all ya got is pace intercooler, xzorst, filter?

what else would i have to do to make it worthy of fitting say a stage 3 turbo!

Dependant on the boost you were running it could be very laggy IIRC the stage 2 turbo from turbo technics still retains the original ex housing hence making it spool up quick.
to warrant a 'stage 3' turbo (ie .48 housing or bigger) then you will need over 18/20 Psi of boost.. Which isnt going to be much use if the car has a standard head etc on it.
