Default jerky xr2i!!!!!

this is driving me mad. its been doing it since i bought it a few months back. when at low speeds or low rpm i can feel the car jerking slightly back and forward, usually around 2-3000rpm in any gear. no problem under full throttle and it doesnt do it when its not in gear. took it to respected specialist garage who did full diagnostic check and set it up said the fuelling was out. it has been a bit better since then but its still doing it and it is really doing my head in. should i try changing leads and plugs? car is totally standard by the way. anyone any ideas?

could be your map sensor, exhaust sensor telling your ecu your emisions are out cuz its gone, or piston rings have gone, i think that was the 3 things that was the problem or 1 of them was... hope it helps.

Have you cleaned the ISCV? they get all gummed up and dont work properly... the end result is similar to your description.

As eluded to above, it sounds as though the ignition timing is changing with all else being correct, if the edis module has a ignition map in it, and uses a vac pipe this can certainly cause what you have.
