Air leak in somewhere? Without a flow of air the flap will not move hence injectors will not get a feed. Does the flap move smoothly beause they are known to stick. You can undo the 10mm nut and recentralize it fith a feeler guage if in doubt.

if i run two wires from the fuel pump to the battery live and earth it starts up and runs fine but smells of petrol if i run new wires to the fuel pump off the ignition will this cause it to over fuel in any way?? or do you know how to fix the fault
