ECU and TPS question
Got a 4x4 and putting it back to L6 from L8 and PF01 from PF09 due to the fact the car has a 2wd engine loom fitted
Was running with 2wd loom and L8 and PF09
Will I have to reverse the outside two wires on the TPS plug when going back to L6?
If they are the wrong way round, what will it do? Rev the nuts off with a closed butterfly or just not run atall?
cheers

Testing the future
i don't see what you're hoping to acheive
a 2wd loom will work properly with the pf09 and L8 if the outer 2 wires of the tps connector are correctly positioned (at both the tps and ecu ends)

if you change the wires at the ECU end and the TPS end you will not end up changing anything
The "WD loom cannot accomodate the Knock sensor so why use a L8 when the motor is nothing special, and I have a stage 4 chip for a L6

i said if the wires are positioned correctly at both ends, i didn't say anything about swapping them at both ends.
why use a L8? because they're better (more memory and map sites) and can support both the knock sensor and a lambda sensor if you have the right one and add a few wires to the 2WD loom.
fair point on the chip, but i'd rather run stg 4 on L8 than L6.
