hallo ford people . quick question how much psi i need to run in order to use an external wastegate.i ll be upgreting to greys and 1.2bars next week .cheers

 

You can use a external wastegate at any pressure, but at 1.2 bar you don't need one, save your money and spend elsewhere.

I run 2 bar with a internal gate

if you want one then fit one but its not needed so fitting purely for the noise

 

i run an external waste gate and screamer but its because my car runs 2.2bar on a gt35 ... but must say it sounds the nuts but as said its not cheap to make a kit up...

check out reyland as he does kits for the conversion

 

Cost about 2k plus and Internal will be fine..

 

I you want one get it done they sound the bolloxs I run an external wastegate on my fiesta cost me around £300 all in with my manifold But it's a zetec turbo not a cosworth
