Default YB Coil on Plug / Direct Fire Coils

I have been looking at the choices for coil on plugs that are starting to creep in on some YB engines.

Can you run wasted spark with DFC (Direct Fire Coils)?

Do they produce a more powerful spark than the Zetec coils?

I have found these Toyota Denso coils are the right fit-

I have heard many different opinions regarding the use of these coils on the YB, Im guessing they supply a more powerful spark at high revs? these were used on a Toyota Yaris 1.5 litre VVT engine. Who recommended them to you and what is your rough spec??

I would run them as 1 coil per cyl wasted spark can make them run hotter if they req long dwell times, I perfer the Chevy LS1 coils with leads.

Any pictures of that setup Mark?
So you would not run wasted spark with the individual coils?

I dont see the point of wasted with a ecu that can run 4 ign out puts as it costs no more. I wll take pict today.

A lot of work and money for no gain on most engines though, maybe better spending money elsewhere, but your money if you want to double the amount of bits that can, and do go wrong over a normal coilpack.
I always follow the KISS policy, only way to be imo.
