What power level are you going for mate? a t28 will be smaller than the turbo you have already, but maybe you want less lag?

Less than 28psi? the turbo you have is quite large for a 2 litre, i had the same on my 2 litre 8v zvh, was a lot of lagg and no power until 4000 rpm, what is the reason for changing turbo?

A t34 .48 would give you similar power but much more low down torque and drivability. At28 is a bit small IMO, based on a t25 footprint.

I think with a large turbo- 15 max 20 PSI
Sample : GT30R - 3500 7200 RPM - 15 PSI , may be more of a power

1.6 honda civic uses GT35R

honda revs to 9000 rpm though and the head flows much better, a bigger turbo may not come in till 4500 or even 5000 rpm, then you will loose low down torque and power, and im not sure it will make the power at lower boost even if it is bigger.

small turbo high revs is not enough (2000 RPM 4500 ends)

it's a hybrid hx35 with a smaller turbine should spool it by 4000 rpm . 3 bar of boost if needed i'll run it at 2.4 bar [if i can get it on pump gas]

285cams on a turbo car. std dohc drives std 244 degrees and 10.5 mm lift.

to get low down power then abaut std degrees and more lift. ive mounted 11.55 lift regrind cams on a NA dohc with out problems.

a dohc are not a rpm engine. but a high tourque engine.

last dohc ive made for a friend made 150NA hp with out ajustment and 200nm.
pullede all the way up to 7000rpm

there are a lot of flow to get in the head.

were are you now with HP?
