Cossie Dizzy Removal
Hi,
I'm looking to convert my standard dizzy ignition to coil packs as i am using an Omex 600 ecu. I am also using a Pace dry sump which uses the pulley for the dizzy to drive the Pace pump. As i no longer need the Dizzy, nor the standard oil pump, is there anything effectively stopping me from just removing the whole dizzy and drive gear and blanking the hole? Or do i need to keep it all in place still? The engine has come from an early 2wd Saph.
Cheers,
Scott

Are you running fully sequential injection ?, if so then you will need a phase sensor, but this could be mounted elsewhere, then you could remove the dizzy and pump, but of course need to bung the gallery supply from the original pump.
