I bought a burton power "CV211" manganese bronze valve guides for my CVH engine.
A local tuning workshop ask me for valve to guide clearance for intake and exhaust valves.
Could you tell me correct valves to guides clearance should be?
And other question: Do I need to use valves with chrome stems for this guides, or I can use default valves?
Hi again.
There is Burton Power anwer:
"...the guide to valve clearence is 0.0015" to 0.002"..."
"... the clearences for intake and exhaust are the same..."
Tabetha occasionally comes out with something useful, but it tends to be a low enough percentage of the time that a general policy of ignoring everything he says is probably a safe bet generally speaking.
Im sure he does try though.
