Default 2.0 pinto ignition timing?

its at 4 degrees at the moment and im geting a misfire and seems to hold back alot

its a 2.0l 202 block pinto with a vv carb that was previously on a 1.6

anyone know what i should be setting it at? as haynes manual doesnt seem to have any info on it

any help epreciated cheers

I used to run around 8-10 degrees BTDC static, , just do a dizzy swing until it's best, or if modded etc adjust to suit your engine by adjusting the advance retard curve, bosch dizzies are easiest to do this on.
