MK3 Fiesta Engine Options Help
I've just aquired a newly rebuilt ex race fiesta rolling shell with loads of goodies fitted but a big hole where the engine and box should be.
I'm new to fords having been on the french darkside (205s and Clios) for years so i'm not that up on the interchanging bits and bobs within the fords.
What's the quickest and easiest engine I can bang it and thrash the car to death?
I did have the 1.7 puma engine and 'box in mind but looking about no one seems to do that conversion to the mk3 is it a pig to do? you all seem to be going down the 2.0 zetec route but I'm looking for something a lot more 'plug and play' rather than interchanging half the bits off a 1.6 onto the 2.0 etc
Can anyone help
Cheers

The 2.0 is painless really. I'd personally go for that, and I believe you need a couple of bits from the 1.8, sump and some other small bits. Also an engine mount. It has been done so many times, you'll find what you need from looking on here for an hour.
