Default 4x4 cossie no spark

I've got an 4x4 cosworth with t34 with a 330bhp chip ( ecu has White mixture screw and L3 on chip). It's an Escort engine in a Sierra with 4x4 loom.
I have a problem starting, put new leads, dizzy, rotor arm, group a coil, ign amp. but still no spark. There is fuel, Could this be a phase sensor or is there another reason.

Did a few tests today and found out it hasn't got spark of fuel.
Could the ecu have a immobilizer?

Cheers Simon

hi mate i have found either you have tripped the fuel cut off in the foot well or the fuse on the red and blue wire behind the glove box has blown.
but then some more info may help as in, what happened first have you played about with it or did it just not start one day?

Have you checked the crank sensor? That gives the ECU the timing. If theres no timing signal then the injectors wont fire and you will have no spark

Cheers guys, I found the problem was a broken wire from the coil return wire.
But on fixing that one it now starts but won't keep running, according to my AFR it's running weak and gets weaker then cuts out as if the fueling is miles out.
is this a problem anyone might know about or is it possible that my chip is playing about?

It was fine before i put an L8 ecu in, I was running a mappable ecu before with no problems, But i decided to change back to the L8 as i had one when i bought my engine.

The Weber L range were one of the very few ECUS that did not use a trigger wheel for crankshaft reference, would be very surprised if your mappable ECU did, so have you removed the trigger wheel and got the four lug pulley back on although I am sure it would not run at all if it still was using trigger wheel.

I used a bolt on trigger wheel for the mappable ecu which i removed, Then replaced the original crank sensor with a brand new one in it original position.
I must admit that after fixing the spark issue i only seem to be having fueling issues,
It runs very weak, 15-16 on the AFR then it goes right of the scale to the lean side and the engine cuts out, But also i can't touch the throttle as it makes the engine cut out straight away, I first thought it was a timing issue till i looked at the AFR and saw the how far the reading was into the red,
Before with the mappable it was in the 10-12 on start up and 14 once warmed up.

Thanks for any help being given, more info i can get the better.
