Question zetec turbo bearings

I'm building a silvertop zetec turbo and am about to order my pistons and bearings for the bottom end. I've noticed there is a number of choices as to bearing size.
why is this?
what do I need to know to decide which to buy?

its all down to your crank size im building a zetec turbo atm and i striped my block down and took my crank to the enginears and had it mesured. if its in good condition ie not worn out, and has not been ground then you will fit standard size bairings as its a standard crank. but if the crank is in bad condition and needs to be ground (ie they re cut where the bairing sits making it smaller) then you need to fit bigger shells or bairings. the normaly come in 3 sizes standard .25 and .5 oversize. hope that made some sence lol
