cossie steering wheel shake !

Default cossie steering wheel shake !

hi chaps
probs with 2wd cossie when braking steering wheel shaking !
what to check first ? and how ?
sticking brake calipers & warped discs
bushes
tca
anything else ?
i have 17" x 7" bk 604 alloys fitted were originally on a focus but et is 38
so should be ok there ?
any more info appreciated thanks

sounds like warped disc's is it worse when braking from a higher speed like slowing down on a slip road or something? if so then it's gonna be warped discs

As above check disc runout first, and also the state of play in the bulkhead bush where the cossie steering shaft passes through from bottom of column to rack, these always wear but are only about £3 for a new one and 15 minute job to do easy enough.
