Right this may sound like a stupid question but i'm gonna ask any way.

can i use 4x4 cossie header tank on a 2wd saff and use the extra in/outlet(circled in red) to go to my swirl pot and keep the water return from the turbo on the smaller inlet at the top?





Please don't laugh and point if i have over looked the obvious.

you can do whatever u want in theory, u can deff use a 4x4 tank on 2wd but have u seen the size of the outlet from a swirlpot?! Their ususally the same size as the turbo return pipe like the small one ontop..............

Plus i would have thought any sort or return to the tank would have to be above coolant level too?!

 

The return doesn't need to be above water level in the tank, you could do as you wished no problem.
