You need to find out what the CO level should be for your chip measured as a percentage assuming it's not standard if so I think it's 2.5%, you then need a exhaust gas analyzer, get the car upto running temp, make sure cooling fans are not on at the time of checking. The level is adjusted by the screw on the ECU.

air leak. Ah ok. Well does this help. I took the hose of the top of my grp a dump valve and the revs went up and stayed there steady at just over 1k. And when i connected it again the iscv did its adjusment noise and carried on doing its usually thing. Thanks for the help guys. Can i run the car, once warmed up with the iscv loom connector disconnected with oit doing damage as when i disconect it the engine idles perfectly again once warmed up cause when cold the engine nearly stalls lol.

Yes the only time ISCV is when cold and if any heavy electrical load is applied, to allow more air in so if not connected it won't start. Once up to temp and unplugged it won't make any difference as it's not being used. It will do no damage at all.

so i can make my own switch sort of thing connected to one of the loom wires and put a break in it via a simple 2 pined switch. Happy days.

You could, but you could also fix your leaky DV first, that fact it speeded noticebaly shows it is leaking, is it a diaphragm type ?.
If you just set the idle a bit higher say 1000rpm and just hold for a few seconds when cold it will still idle lumpily.
If the fuelling is ok it can still start and idle from cold with no iscv, loads do, esp on differrent mappable ecu's.
