Zetec Twin 40 Conversion/ Rollcage Problems
Hi guys,
Ive just bought myself a mk3 fiesta with a gti engine out an escort in it. The car is tuned just now etc cams, air filter exhaust the usual but I was wondering if anyone could tell me how hard it is to do the carb conversion? I have the 40s sitting ready to go on, I no about the adapter manifold but besides this Im in the dark? Better sending it to someone who knows what they are doing? Im also looking for a rollcage for the mk3 dunno if anyone has one? as I cant post on wanted forum, or does anyone know the best place to get one? Im after the half cage for back. Thanks for any help guys!!
Much appreciated!!

The 40's can be fitted easy, but to realise thier full potential you will ideally need mappable ignition, I would look into things in great detail, 40's will no matter how well set up NOT match the overall driveability of EFI, not in a month of sundays.
If wanting it for the induction roar, just convert to itb, individual throttle bodies, same noise but benefits of efi.
Having run 45 and 48 DHLA's for a number of years, despite the delorto dhla being a better carb than the webber, the amount of problems due to icing was unreal.
