If you don't have a chip then you won't be able to turn the boost up above 10psi, as the overboost protection will keep cutting in.
So you need a 195 chip to get the best out of those modifications.

wats 10psi in bar coz i can hit 1.2 bar but soon as i hit 1.2 bar in 3rd or above it trips n limits me ta 0.5 bar. if i try exceedin 0.5 after its tripped i kangaroo??? also for a lil experiment, i turned my boost down so it didnt trip.... n it wouldnt fuel me enough once i got over 128 mph??? is that down to the chip 2?? many thanks

The chip will try to cut the boost if there's more than it's designed to allow, as long as there's a boost controller of some sort (ie, the amal valve) connected.
i bought her n she had a bleed valve. i removed this couple of weeks ago n fitted a amal valve of a s2. since this i struggle to boost past 0.4??? is amal valve fooooked??
It might well be. Switch on the ignition (don't start the engine) and disconnect and re-attach the plug on the amal valve a few times - it should click quite loudly if it works. You did the right thing dumping the pikey bleed valve.
The default behaviour is to protect the engine, so you will only get about 5psi, if that.

back to the amal valve, im not sure til i check but when my m8 1st fitted amal valve, he ran a live straight too it, n it clicked loud ish on ignition bein turned. i mentioned to wire it up where it should be ( old amal valve wires) so he did. he checked them 1st too see if they were good and they was. but i dont hear a click no more like i used too when it had direct live??
The amal valve has a live feed (On a Cossie this comes from the fuel pump relay), and the ECU switches the earth. Check that there's continuity for the feed and the earth - it might be shorting somewhere.
