Default leak and high idle

evening everyone, i have a leak which i found coming from the drivers door seal, i replaced the seal with another 1 from a escort but it still the same. water just runs over the top of the seal, its had a sill and rear quarter fitted by a previous owner, is it possible its not meeting the door as it should.

also when i start the car it idles at 1800-2000 revs. no air leaks on the hoses , sometimes if i pull the throttle cable the revs drops to near normal. ive recently changed the injectors could it be coming from there

cheers

sounds like the throttle cable is sticking.
did you refit it correctly if you had to remove it to do the injectors.?
