Default pinto compression can this be done????

hi anyone tried this a low compression 205 pinto with a 1.6 head should give good compression ratio much better than the 2.0 transit
think this is what i will get
standard 2.0 with 1.6 head 11.35 -1
low comp 2.0 with 1.6 head 9.88 -1 much better
as above with thin felpro gasket 10.56 -1
sounds good worth a try only want to try this as the parts i already have and should have no machine costs

what do you reckon?

Default

Smaller valves in a 1.6 head and not ideal squish (piston top to head distance) if you are putting in bigger valves, open up the throats behind the valves, and relive the chamber walls you will see benefits.
Just bolting a 1.6 head on the low comp block, not sure you would see much difference.
Oh and the 1.6 cam is shorter duration than the standard 2.0L
