depends what stuff u have at the moment for 330 (ie whether what youve got is stressed now or not) u'll more than likely need bigger injectors, uprated intercooler, possibly a hybrid turbo and maybe differnet cams and low comp pistons.

Am watching this topic with interest as I'm wondering which turbo to buy for my car... T34 T4 ??? I'm looking for as much bhp as the standard gearbox and transmission will reliably take.

t-34.63 with 360bearings could do it....as you need a wrc gasket, greys (or light blues), low comp. pistons...cams,

and for the saph...good brakes....and the 4wd gearbox will shit itself in couple of time.....ask RsGus..he knows

u could get 400bhp on low comp pistons standard cams and just a bit of head work,T34, 4x 403's injectors, big i/cooler 27-30 psi of boost.

I think Brom from Zoo Motorsport ran that if not more on standard comp in his Saff, send him a pm and I'm sure he'll let you know for sure

ps standard 4x4 g/boxes DONT like 360+bhp it's only a matter of time b4 some thing breaks

IMO on a T34 you would need head work with an uprated inlet cam at the least!!

plus the low comp pistons with valve cut-outs , I would go for a multi-layer head gasket as well.

you could always go the light blues route , you probably wouldnt have to change anything apart from put a T34 with a .63 housing on and you would have 360hp

*Just to clarify i have a 4x4 engine, but am running Rwd through a T5 instead.*

The engine is recently rebuilt, rebore pistons etc, but otherwise is standard, except from the stage 3 parts (803's etc), a 4x4 IC and a T34 with 0.48 housing.

So for starters, would it be a good idea (based on whats been said above) to have the head flowed, fit new cams (which ones?), have the pistons machined to lower compression and have add valve cutouts, and a multilayer headgasket, with Greys and finished with a live map?

really need to speak to someone who will llive map it - as you dont really need greys for 400 hp , light blues will cover that , but its whether you want to go further inthe future - buy right , buy once
