2wd cos fuel pump low voltage
just finshing off my rebuild. the fuel pump doesnt prime when ignition is on i have checked the voltage at the relay i have 13 .8 v feed and the same coming out ofthe relay . put when i check the voltage in the boot i get 1.27 v this is the reason why the pump wont work so does anyone have any ideas wht my cause the low voltage in the boot.
Is it just worth while just rewiring the fuel pump and running the trigger wire from the old one to the boot and postive ad negative from he battery
thanks Olly

AS said just get it rewired, along with the fan/s.
1.27v will NOT however energise a relay, so will need a "trip" wire running to the rear, or wherever you put the relay, from the original relay position, the wire has obviously degraded terribly.
I would also run a complete new earth direct from battery to pump.
