hi i have a escort rs turbo it is running standard boost by the amel valve. i read abaout a 2 stage boost switch bye doing something with the amel valve does anyone know how to do it as i dont want a bleed valve and i want to run normal boost round town the switch it when i want to give it some thanks

 

Yes what you do is you cut the earth return for the amal valve and fit a switch inline, what this does it when the switch is closed allows maximum boost (as it is now) and when you break the connection i.e open the switch the boost is sent straight to the actuator instead of being bled off and hence you run lower boost.

Allthough it's called boost control it isnt really and will not gain you any power.
