Ive got a 1.6 16v zetec se focus 2000 model,
it runs fine on idle and when reved up when sitting still,
but it starts pinking when driving when the engine is underload,
theres no trouble codes, no warning lights on the dash, new sparkplugs a year ago, no misfires,
anyone had this problem before?

what fuel are you using? supermarket fuel crap, so try some good stuff. unless you've already tried?

yeah we've been using the supermarket fuel,
will fill the car up with optimax or ultimate next time and see if it runs better
