Default Rad Hose Split By Power Steering Pulley

Hi all,

On a trackday recently the radiator hose was split by the power steering pulley below, as there is only about a 1-2 inch gap in between. I guess the engine moving about on track caused this to happen.

Now, I have a new Roose hose but have noticed it is exactly the same shape and still sits very close to the power steering pulley. Any ideas how I can get more clearance between the hose and the pulley? The radiator is bolted onto the chassis and I'm not sure it can move anywhere? I should note that I'm running a new airtech rad and cooler, so perhaps this has moved things slightly vs standard?

Help would be appreciated!

I'm also running airtech stuff, no problems here.
When I was looking at cozmeister's car last weekend, I did notice that his top hose had a bend in it, and that put it a lot closer to the pulley, he had very little clearance as well.
The bend I am talking about is about halfway along, it swoops downwards, I fitted a new genuine ford top hose a few years back, and it is different in that it is totally straight between the actual end bits, that turn towards rad and stat.
Maybe ford changed the shape due to this, as there is shed loads of clearance on mine.
