Gearbox fault
Hi my girlfriend has a ford festa 1.4 2004 auto.
Some times the gears stick it will not change up a gear!! the car has only done 20,000 miles and has i full sevice history the gearbox has already had a new part on it. Also the gearbox seems i little nosey to me for a quite new car. Since we've had it (about 1 year) i have always felt that the gearbox has never been quite right. Does anyone know of any common faults with these? warrantyas now ran out so we are worrred that it could costy!

Faults with these boxes, how many notepads do you have!!
They are not the greatest things around, best bet is to take to auto specialist so he can drive it, will soon tell you what the problem and cost is, make sure you are sat down though, as hitting your head on the floor as you faint at the price hurts!!
