Default cold start problem cosworth

When my 2wd saff is cold it doesn't like to start if i keep turning it over it doesn't seem to want to start if a turn the ignition on and off it will eventually start. if i put my foot flat to the floor it will slowly cough its way into life. once it has warmed up it will start first turn every time. when it running it doesn't seem to skip a beat.
i need to adjust the base idle on it which i haven't done yet as it will stall once i have moved off and then come to a stop will this have any thing to do with it.

cheers
Phil

I would replace the CTS then get the base idle done when warm then set CO to around 2.5% CO, readjust idle speed if needed.

i think i've sussed this we'll i say me one of my mates who is clued with his cossies has sussed it it's the fuel return valve on the pump it's buggered so when i leave it for a given amount of time the the fuel is running back into the tank if i prime the fuel pump several times before actually trying to start it it will start no probs.
where can i get a furl return valve from?????
hopefully this may help someone in the future.

cheers for the reply,

Phil
