hi

my brothers got a standard s2 rs and it doesnt like starting, it will start on the first turn of the key but then stalls and can do this 2 or 3 times before it fires up . can anyone please tell me what is causing this.

it was suggested that it may be the cold start valve ive unplugged it but its no better ( i understand this was a ford mod back in the day )

have you checked the timing?

 

ive been havein the same problem it was the co mixture i turned it clock wise a little at a time and finally got it about right this mornin it started and idled for the first time since ive had it
