Default RST2 Engine cut out help pls

Hi all im new to PF went to look at a series 2 RST this weekend G reg was a very tidy example inside and and out been garaged 6 year but.........

When i turned it over it had problems starting up first time, with a little push on the Accelerator it would fire up then cut out if i took my foot off for it to idle. The owner asked if i would like a run round the block he started it up and manged drive it round the bloc whilst keeping sum revs on whilst pulling off so it didnt cut out, but when he pulled up he left the car to idle and its was ok i dont know to much about cars so maybe u guys help me out thanx

ohh and the vehicle has fitted ahmed bayoo chip, low compression pistons, big valve head, scorpion stainless exhaust, two stage boost, samco turbo and coolant hoses, loads of chrome engine.
